Yellow Roses

Patty loves yellow roses. They were the only flower her husband ever gave her. After he passed away, she knew that she wouldn’t be receiving yellow roses anymore. There will always be memories yellow roses, and missing them.

Weaver used squeeze bottles to get the perfect texture for this painting. The hot pink and violet, distorted arrangement of forms and wild black line work is a metaphor for how madly in love Patty was. This image evokes memories and emotions of happiness, love and loss.
