UNNAMED 3

Weaver uses bold amounts of luscious paint. Running your fingers across this painting feels as if you are touching the ocean cove’s walls. The glistening visible fragment of sun creates the illusion of light disappearing into the sea.

Patty was in a dark place, feeling immense grief over her husband’s death when she painted this. Caves are often symbols for renewal. Weaver felt as though she had experienced so much pain that she was optimistic one day it would subside. Here she expresses light and hope.
